No-Ho needs Knitters

For the past couple of months or so. Miss "Bells and Whistles" Blaise and I have been organising and managing a massive knitting project which will culminate in a magical jamboree of knitted goodness from July 11th to 19th here in sunny Nupton on Sea.
Project Lionheart is visiting Northampton for that week and the Artist Shauna Richardson has kindly given us Swaledale wool which she used to crochet her magnificent lions with. For our part we have created creatures which will be appearing in the town centre at the same time. Although you may need to cast your eyes heavenwards to spot them.
We have coerced an army of knitting volunteers to help us with this project, so a massive "thank you" to each an every one of those.
We have held 3 knit a long movie thons, created knitted stumps, wickets, cricket bat and ball for Northants Steelbacks, taught many people how to knit and crochet, worked with schools and also learnt to machine knit. The results of all this hard work will be appearing in the locality very soon. Watch this space...
